Two good places for an overnight stop along Freiston shore nature reserve..

To get there follow the A52 Boston to Skegness road for approx 4 miles to Haltoft End then turn right following the RSPB signs.

Plummers Car Park
Shore Road
Gravelled/Tarmac parking and picnic area overlooking the bird reserve wetlands. Footpath from the carpark out to the sea.

Butterwick Pullover
Sea Lane
Smaller parking area to the northeast of Plummers Car Park overlooking the marshes and out to sea. Very quiet and isolated.

As it says above nice & quiet,good place to stopover,could be a pain to find if its dark when u get there,worth the visit and away from main road,gets my vote. Thanx. :D:D:D

Hi Pete Great place & evan better photos, nice one,

I dont think we post enough photos on this site,,, as a member of other sites ie forums they seem to post up lots more photos of there adventures/trips away,,, i dont know about others but i really enjoy looking at peoples photos it gives a better idea/view of the places they have found, i no we have a picture gallerey but not enough new posts on there really! ,,, why not a page just dedicated to location photos????

i will show you mine if you show me yours!!!!!!!!! lol,,

Thanks Peejay, these look like great spots, although I see they are already listed in our POI's download.

It must be 30 years* since I was in the bar of that "Plummers Arms" hotel! Do you know if there is still a pub there, as looking on Streetview, it now seems to be a Guest House instead?

* I should like to add that I was very,very young then!
