Good afternoon.

As you will guess, I am a keen angler who likes to get away for long week ends. In order to enjoy the outdoors just that little bit more I have a VW Transporter converted into a day van and have become a full member to help find suitable rural locations to park up when travelling the country. I would be keen to hear from any like minded souls.

Welcome from another angler, Salt, fresh and Fly, but mainly Carp, Barbel and Pike.

Where are you located?

You only want a trawler and you've got the lot -- oops, sorry Julie!

Thanks for all the welcomes. I live in Hampshire and enjoy many types of fishing fishing for specimen fish always trying to get my personal best weight for whatever species I fish for. Carp, Barbel & Roach are my current favourite freshwater fish to target. Also keen to fish off the beach for anything big enough to pull back!!

I have been travelling down around Ross-on-Wye and Hereford in recent years for the Barbel.

Thanks again for all the welcomes.
