Brand new sign here saying No overnight parking by motorhomes or caravans, but OK to pitch a tent !!!
Surely a car would be parked overnight for the occupants to pitch a tent and leave their waste ?
I would have taken a photo of sign but somebody covered it up with a bin liner !!
We stayed anyway.

Was there any reference to a TRO on the sign?

There have been signs there for years, nobody bothers about them.

No TRO information posted on notice but a Police Scotland badge on notice to intimidate people planning to stop there.
Had to laugh at the instructions to tenters to leave no mess as every time I have been there, and that is quite a few, I have Never seen any dog walker pick up their dog's mess.

Post #5 in the thread shows the photo of the sign asking tent campers to dispose of toilet waste responsibly but prohibits motorhomes - is it just me or is that not a bit ridiculous?

As far as I'm aware the freedom to wildcamp in Scotland has only ever been applicable to Tent campers and not motorhomes/campers etc.
