We're new to the site, so please forgive, we joined as we only ever wild camp, so was expecting to find that to be the heavy topic, but apart from a couple of mentions, it's not(or appears not) to be that well covered.

So where do we find the deatils of W/C places and POI's if poss.

cheers Kev n Liz

the majority of us wild camp most of the time if you check the wild camping area you will find lots of places to stop. but the best way is to just go out there and stop where you think it is safe enough to do so. as soon as the spring gets here you will see how the site livens up with places

Hi we are new to this site as also.
We are always looking for safe wild camp places to go, perhaps more people could join in on this subject and between us draw up a list of locations?

We have found that the caravan club has a list of cl sites which have limited facilities from around 2.50 per night, this includes rubbish and loo waste disposal as well as filling your fresh water tank.

We have been over to France on many occasions and the attitude to wild camping is great, wild camping is accepted almost everywhere. (look out for small black and white signs with a picture of a motorhome)

Even if there are no signs almost all towns and villages will allow you to stop overnight for free. Many even offer free waste and loo disposal free water and sometimes free electric hook up.
