View Full Version : Compilations ?

As I always planned to revisit the UK I amused myself to flee out this (and other sites) last years and made lists of possible places to overnight. Now and then I see new members inquiring about wilding spots. And yes you'll have to be retired to have the time to put it all together and make a compilation . .
But I did do it; But now I have a slight problem:
1. I made it in 'word' and added 'snatched' photo's
2. I find it difficult to post it in this way (I'm not an IT expert )
3. I don't know it is still accurate
4. I don't know it is any good at all ?
Are there some local members will assist to have a look at these lists ? Please send me a PM with your @ adress and I'll send them over. Feel free to give your advice, objections, remarks or whatsoever, or delete it, and feel free to post it and share it on 'our' site.
At this moment 'Kent' is ready, and I'll move over northwarths along the Northsea shortly.
(I have to get rid of this :o)
Yours
Leo (alias 'Belgian')

I've also collated all sites posted on here and another site via county in Word (don't think some of my Scotish sites are in the right county/area!), but did not add any photos... and still it runs to about 23 pages just for England!!

It makes for a quick reference guide when out & about, W/C sites in one hand and the Camping & Caravan Guide in the other!!

Hi Leo, Kent and upwards to the North sea is not my strong point in geographical knowledge and I don't use sat nav locations, just maps so I don't think I would be much good to you.:o:(

... I'm sitting on an egg.... Help me hatching it: I quote myself:

.... Little response !. So, I'll post 'Kent' anyway (without photo's, maps...). Don't be alarmed: I don't reveal secrets for 90% is available on 'our' site, only disperchered. I only put it together on 1 list.
And yes, I used the Michelin-atlas grid.(I don't have shares !) I know the AA-atlas is far more better (but it has such a clumsy format..:p)
OK, have a look on 'Kent'; please don't hesistate to put remarks, add-ons; or simply sink the idea. If any good, let me know, and I go on; otherwise: a full-stop  but no harm done.

Leo,
I can confirm that we have overnighted at St Margaret at Cliff by the Dover Patrol Monument and Marine Parade in Dover.
We have posted photos of both of these locations and both are very good:)
