42114421154211442115Hi I was down at balloch today and seen couple of vans parked in a really nice spot over looking loch lomand .went over and had a chat nice couple from down south anyway he told me that the park rangers told him where to park and that it was ok .they have showers 50p. A waste dump toilet and water point.
Very good spot I think the water and other facilities were put in for boat users but ok for mh to use . the showers and toilets are located at the national park slipway I'll try and post exact location later .

As long as there's no Fekin gypos there or the usual wee glesga ned and crew with tents it might be ok

Just checked that out, I've been in there with the low loader delivering a machine to the dock

I lived in balloch for 20 years my kids were born there and most of my family still live there so still have we bit connection to the population . It's the weekenders that make the place look bad just like any small holiday town there's going to be bams from the big cities that go nuts with a couple of drinks

We over-nighted in Balloch last November and we liked it so much it's our first stop over on our route up for for the NC500........ we had lunch at the causeway carpark just by the paddle ship loved it :D:D:D

Had couple of nightmare experiences there a few years ago and it was with locals . Put me off the place

Next time your there gives a call I'll sort it out. I won't drink that weekend so everything should be quiet .
