Does this count?

I'm on a pub car park, there are almost a dozen vans here, all festooned with big green W stickers.

The occupants look like a reasonable crowd, very chatty, and we're all going for a meal in the pub tomorrow. The food looks scrumptious.

The Landlord looks very happy to have all these thirsty customers on his doorstep.

Really wish we could be there this weekend,we have enjoyed glasson dock a couple of times and the owners of the pub offered the car park with no obligation for that alone they deserve lots of custom. Eat drink and be merry all of you, hope the weather stays with you

Interesting night.
One huge thunderclap at about 2am, very very close.
Poor old Bill, aka BMC, had to leave hurriedly, first thing. His porta potty had sprung a leak.... Bad news!
Some of us expect that he may have been sat on it at 2am.
Hope he's OK.

LOL Paul......you're never short of a bit of humour no matter what the situation. Yes thanks...I'm OK

Home safe and just cleared the van out. Just need to get it dried out now and sort another porta potty

PS. where does the Merlin come from ?
PPS. Not sure I should have asked that question :)

Too many birthdays, Bill.
We know a Merlin who has a similar rig to yours.
Just been to the Bistro, round the corner from the pub.
Spectacular grub.... Worth coming back for.

Yeah.....looked like they did some nice stuff in there...shame they close so early.

Had some sunshine this afternoon and the van's dried out nicely.

Just cooked myself a 9oz fillet steak, baked jacket potato with field mushrooms done in thyme, garlic and butter.

Yummy...I'm a happy bunny tonight.

Take care......hope to see you all again soon.

And what about the Smokehouse woo hoo! 2x pheasants, a duck and 6x venison sausages, all for 9. Even a certain Yorkshireman couldn't grumble at that, well maybe he would.:)

Some of us are still here, lovely evening.
We've found a short cut through a ginnel ,to the Smokehouse, just a 200 yard walk.
Guess who is having kippers for breakfast ?

Side of the pub Paul:rolleyes2:

Don't forget to swill the kippers down with a bottle of Newcastle Brown then kiss your child bride. She will love you all the more for it.

Now he tells me !

We followed the signs from the main road, which took us round eventually.

We would never have guessed that the short cut was through the big stones blocking an old way through.
We'll know next time though.

Maybe you should go into business organising spare wheels for motorhomers going through Spain. I'll get back to you regarding that.

Kippers? Hope it's a dry morning, tomorrow, Jenny will be sitting outside, eating muesli, while I'm grilling the kippers..... With all doors, windows and skylights open.
