wife is working that weekend and eldest is not due back from a summer camp thing until mid afternoon on the saturday so if you're within an hour or so of Dundee I could be there with the kids :)

so of the suggestions backwater damn would be good for us ;)

We'll hopefully be off up to Scotland on Thursday for about a month, if you let us know where about your having a meet we might be in the area & would like to come. As I put in another post not too clear where we are going yet so we could be anywhere.

Better dates for me. Whole week end. Is backwater big enough site for a meet? The parking at the far end has better views but limited space. Depends on numbers I suppose.

If anyone fancies the trossachs we could maybe get there for a Saturday night.

Best places are Ben Venue and Ben Ann car parks at Loch Achray near to Loch Katrine where you could go for a sail on the Loch. The carparks do get busy with walkers etc but if you are pitched up on Friday no probs...remember the midges will be there too!!!!

we went to backwater but wasnt comfortable as there was young adults playing with their cars-so we went down to the scottish gamefair at scone on fri night-we met up with another van from glasgow but there was a new rollerteam200 next to us and they had the genny running ALL night but it ran dry of fuel about 6am,Trish and I didnt have a good sleep....

Just seen this Andy.
The wife and I were at Backwater on Thur. night (Lunan Bay crowded, couldn't get parked).
We had a very quiet night, being the only van parked there that night.
I did notice some tyre tracks of tight cornering (wheelies?) but nobody came by at all.
Left on Friday to return home.
