Hi we are new users of this site and would welcome any advice:) Although based in Scotland we have no knowledge of wild camping spots on the Isle of Skye, or the Fort William and Kyle of Lochalsh area. We are heading there in a couple of weeks and would really appreciate some help. Our motorhome is 7.5m, are there any roads or areas we should avoid? Hope someone can help.

Hi, there's a good carpark in Plockton, about 5 miles north of kyle, we were there a couple of weeks ago, there's toilets, a couple of nice pubs, and plenty of boats & great scenery.
Try Galtrigill on N/W Skye, very quite parking area,(right at the end of the road).its north of Dunvegan, off the B884, towards the Piping Museum, theres fantastic views, loads of wildlife, no traffic.
Cheers, Pete.
