I deliver aircraft parts to RAF valley and was up there last year on family day and the displays they put on are superb especially the red arrows, the only down side is the roads get chocker blocked with cars parking on the pavements on both sides of the road making it quite difficult to get through.

You can get a good view from the campsite.

lol, I was contract manager at RAF Valley, seen enough planes to last me a life time. Enjoy though, shame they do not do the proper airshows as they used to. Last one they did the queues were 20 miles to get in - chaos.

Not been home long after a brilliant meet.

Thanks Phil for organising this one, a real treat being able to watch the air display, and we've had pretty good weather too, great for sitting about with good company.

Hippy I could have done with your flask. I hadn't got 10 miles when the traffic ground to a halt, it looked like a lorry had swiped a car which ended up facing the way it had come and part way up a banking. Bits of car and property scattered about but by the looks of it, no one hurt.

Washing and van to restock then looking forward to Hollingworth at the weekend.

Donít mention washing the van to Caz, tell her you need specialist cleaning company, every time she goes out the door she says itís filthy

Well what a nice meet.

It fitted in nicely, as I am working Gottwood Festival after it but what a fantastic meet and venue.

To be invited on to the RAF base, to join them for their families day was really nice but the whole week was equally as nice.

Fiona and Karl are excellent hosts, together with Ruby the dog....Other dogs were present and played a part in the week...

Planes - Trains and Campervans ! ! !

What a nice mix of members too :)

I made a £50.00 donation to the RAF, the chap was very pleased. I told him to remember that next year when we have 30 vans there and need multiple minibuses to transport everyone over to the family day, he said that it was fine.
