after the harbourmaster goes off you can park on the quay for the night ....no restriction marked
BUT , there is a sign which says you must obey any instruction he gives you !
he asked me to leave at 8.30 am
lovely quiet night though :)

expensive and restrictive parking

Sorry - am I missing something here? the prices for parking displayed on that notice looked quite reasonable to me - or is there something else?

Can I just say something here, Orford Ness is owned by The National Trust and is on the Other side of the river from Orford Quay.

The picture of the signs you have taken are of a different charity, one called New Orford Town Trust, so that first sign is for the car park owned by N.O.T.T. and nothing to do with the National Trust (Orford Ness).

Oford Ness is that not the place the aliens visited when they went to Rendlesham forest many years ago! Must be very popular in the galaxy. Hope they obeyed the rules! LOL
