Hi there.

Newbee here and new to wild camping. I have just got my van up and running and am planning lots of recession busting wild camping this Autumn and winter in my VW t25.

I was wondering if anyone has ever camped in the huge car park at Polzeath (the beach one, not the one by the campsite). I had a quick look earlier in the year and could not see any signs.

Many thanks.

Mark

hi re:camping in car park at polzeath...unfortunatly you will most definatly be moved on..as in most places in cornwall unless you are very lucky...we live in cornwall and have tried countless times to find a "wild camping spot" but always end up with someone knocking on the door or reporting us...its a shame but thats the attitude down here..!sh

Hi.
I stayed in the carpark at Harlyn Bay in March and have seen many motorhomes there since. There's a carpark in Tintagel that charges 3.50 per night for motorhomes. Happy wilding

The small car park right in Marazion on the sea front (Kings Road I think) used to allow motorhomes to park overnight for about 3. We stayed there a few years ago, anyone know if you can still stay there?
