A good idea. Why don't you organise or make some site suggestions?
I know you have a lot of experience in Scottish wilding.
Southern Scotland may encourage some of our English friends to join in.
If all else fails Glentress seems to go down well
Look forward to your ideas

Good suggestion Wee-z.

I will be up for it unless you do it next to a golf course ( I don`t want a lot of saddos on the meet)

English ones I mean, as Golf is a fine Scottish game played by true gentlemen.

Hi Tony

I would suggest a couple of sites close to Loch Achray...use them often. It really depends on how many want to come as to where is the best place.
No Idea of any dates at present as my schedule is quite busy with working and rallying.

I agree would be great to meet up again, unfortunatly I doubt we could make it this side of xmas.

Perhaps we should start planning a meet for the Febuary half term (same w,end as this year's meet) as Scotland is a bit far for us just for a weekend.

We're the Green Bees (http://www.beesknees-guesthouse.co.uk)!
We're suverners! and We're green horns. We dunna speak Scottish, and we don't play golf. But we are quiet happy to show up on a meet in Scotland if it coinsides with our maiden voyage in November from 23rd to around the 26th 09. If anyone else is in the Loch Ness to inverness area during these dates we'd love to meet up. (We are starting at Fort William and working our way along Loch Ness to Inverness,) More than happy to share some Suvern Comfort and a chin wag.:)

We are from the west coast of Scotland, and would be pleased to attend anywhere in Scotland for a meet.

ME!!!
Organise something!!
If ONLY!!

Mind you I've just come back from a BIG empty car park in Balloch where the Maid of the Loch is "laid up" nearby for the winter and although I was just out for a run from Glasgow for a couple of hours I enjoyed it.
There are gates on entrance and exits but I spoke to a girl who works in the cafe adjacent to the public slipway and she told me that the gates are permanently open. When I asked about any parking charges she also told me that there are NO parking charges (nor are there any "No Overnighting Signs" for the area. I can see the place being VERY busy in the Summer? season but I think it would be ideal for some vans to turn up for a night or 2 out of season. Loch Lomond Shores shopping Mall is closeby for the ladies and/or gents to do some shopping and there are various pubs and hotels around in Balloch. All in all an ideal place to park up for a while and meet new folk.

now suggest a date
and see who wants to turn up
That was easy was it not :)

Green Bees, when are you passing Loch Lomond?
Do you fancy stopping for a night on the way up to Fort william.
That way we might get another couple of vans for a "mini-meet".
