Hi
In April we will be going to Keukenhof Bulb Gardens in Holland
Welkom | Keukenhof (http://www.keukenhof.nl/)
For anyone who does not know this place we consider it to be one of the wonders of the world, they plant millions of bulbs which flower in spring. An amazing sight.

If anyone is interested in joining us when we go then please feel free. For us it will be a crossing from Dover on an early morning ferry then a drive through to a campsite close to Keukenhof where we will stay for 2 nights before moving on.

The dates we are looking at are Tuesday 6th April 7am boat to Calais, Over night 6th and 7th at Camping Sollasi Come to Sollasi, the camping site in Noordwijkerhout (http://www.sollasi.com/CampSollasi/EN/cs_camping.aspx) For a family of 4 they have quoted 26 Euro per night incl EHU

We would be going to the gardens on the 7th.

Anyone who came would be free to do their own thing or join us :)

I only mentioned it at work today that it is nearly 12 months since we went but the memory of Holland is still in the front of my mind.
Maybe next year go back to Delf first

I was bought one of those picture frames that play photoes and i have my holland ones playing.

Sorry I can't come but I am sure you will enjoy yourselves
and could you let me know the millage from Calais as I sailed from Hull

we're going the week before, shame as would have tagged along. Using the cheap offer from Norfolk line. Out on the 28th back on Good Friday. Are you wilding? Germany was our first trip to Europe last year used Stellplatz, bit worried about Holland though.

Anyone any good ideas where to stop and whether they have the same setup as Germany and France?

i have found what looks like a reasonable site about 17 mile/km from Amsterdam, on a good transport link but 24Euro a night:(.

hi karen

untill recently holland has not allowed any wild camping at all. however they are now doing so but only in certain places and they still frown upon it big style.
we are booking ourselves into a campsite for the stay.
