In between Bettyhill and Tongue, turn to Borgie and the road leads to Torrisdale Bay and the very interesting and old village of Skerray, pronounced 'Skerra' by the locals. Just before the beginning of the bay there are parking areas either side of the road suitable for an overnight stay and in a very scenic and elavated location. The river Borgie runs underneath. Sea trout run through in summer and the fishing is free on the opposite side of the river over the bridge and back toward the bay only. Careful of live and dangerous overhead cables though when casting. Past the bay is Skerray graveyard, an unusual and ancient sight.
