Hi
Has anyone used this Aire near the Bray Dunes in Northern France?
Holland Trip - Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Warminster,+Wiltshire+BA12+6BJ,+United+Kingd om&msa=0&msid=109548993552741759744.000481dba72ebdd7bf43c&ll=51.077777,2.515633&spn=0,359.995692&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=51.077739,2.515192&panoid=oqEOGtDGiI9sgXPmSxVcRw&cbp=12,187.56,,0,25.29)

Or do you know a better spot in the region for a couple of days on the way to / from Holland

Not stopped there Mark but Brugge is ok but a little expensive i think 15euros off season 20 euro peak but you get electric with that, see you plan to go via Antwerp stopped on the Quay there and only a 10 min walk into town but Leo will update you on that.

Thanks, I've been using one of the great sites that I think Leo posted some time ago. Antwerp was the next spot on route here I think
Camperplaatsen - Wohnmobilstellplätze - Aires de stationnement - Aree di Sosta - Camperparks : 26 (http://www.*************.nl/cc_reacties.php?sc=9741)

The same from me. (and oysters and fruits-de-mer are a must)
Hondschoote is also a nice place: near the windmill.
Bruges is nice too but VERY expensive.
In Antwerp some of the parking on the quays are now closed for 3 months for archéological escavations prior to the quay renewal.

Yes I know,
It is in Kalmthout; the parking of the nature reserve Kalmthoutse Heide.
Nice spot but rather far away from everything.
Another spot is nearby right on the border (invisible, Belgian side) parking in a beechwood near a castle-restaurant and a park N 51 21 15.4, E 4 23 3.The Belgian/Dutch village of Putte is 400m, supermarket on the Dutch side.
Both spots are in a nice walking-area.

Bray-Dunes is a good spot close by the sea; good fish-restaurants, supermarket nearby.
Another nice aire is Hondschoote, more inland; you cannot miss this one it's near the windmill.
Also have a look at:
http://www.wildcamping.co.uk/forums/france/3111-nord-dep-59-a.html
Nice spots you can find there are in the French Flanders:
Boeschepe
Bergues
Cassel
Godewaerdsvelde
Mont de Cats
