Stayed here for one night on way back home up the A1.

Haxey Quays (http://www.haxeyquays.com/)

Nice site alongside a river AND good pub (with grub) nearby.

Nearest village (Misterton) is about 1 mile away and has a Co-op store, butchers, fish & chips, pub with free internet at bar and a cafe.

Only cost 5 per night. No facilities, but has water taps and loo emptying points. Very peaceful.

Barbeques allowed

Had a chat with owner, Mike McLeod, and he is keen to allow meets in the 15-acre field especially set aside for rallies. Rally rates are 3 per night.

We did notice that there was a tractor on site if required in the wetter months!

Fishing in river and there is a golf course across the road too.

Hiya Bev and Drew, We had a meet just down the road in Misterton (Whitehouse farm) not so long ago;), we also had a meal in the Haxey Quays,
It looks like a good venue and quite central, good level walks along the canals and a Golf course to keep Aj and Co. out of trouble:eek::D

Thanks for sharing:)
