Hi all,

GARMIN NOW SOLD - TOM TOM STILL AVAILABLE.

For the last few years whilst traveling around Europe I've run a Tom Tom Go 730 and a Garmin Nuvi 2545LM side by side. I've decided I prefer the Garmin and I've now bought a new one with 7" screen and so have the 2 Sat Navs mentioned above for sale. They are both loaded up with WC POIs although they need updating plus the Garmin also has ACSI, Lidl Europe, Camperc****** and Archies Europe. The Garmin also has lifetime free maps ( Western Europe ) updates. The Tom Tom is the truck version so vehicle dimensions can be inputed, it also has a 4GB memory card installed and has a carry case. Both have windshield mounts and appropriate power cables. There are no scratches on either of the screens. The Garmin, unfortunately, sometimes has the irritating habit of turning itself off for no apparent reason. It doesn't do this too frequently, sometimes it will function perfectly for days and days and there is no rhyme or reason why it occasionally misbehaves.
I'm looking for £100 for the Tom Tom and £50 for the Garmin and I'll post to U.K. address. PM me if you need any further information.

my garmin used to do this.... and i finally realised that if i held it in a particular way i inadvertently touched an external push button on the edge which transferred its power source from the internal Garmin battery to van battery .... maybe that happened with yours?
