Excellent bit of kit. Ours is 50 feet away in the garage as I rattle the keys. After travelling it takes 20 non hard pulls to get the fuel through then a couple of hard pulls and its away. Ours is 6 years old and never failed us yet.

WE DO NOT USE IT CLOSE TO ANYONE. That's because we actually wild camp......

I totally agree, havenít these people heard of solar panels?
Britons were wild camping long before campsites, it's a basic human right.

As the original post point seems to have diverted somewhat, I thought I would post this up here rather than seperately ....

There is what sounds (oops ) to me a good deal right now on Amazon ... Briggs & Stratton Petrol Portable Inverter Generator PowerSmart Series P2200 featuring 2200 Watt/1700 Watt clean power, ultra quiet and lightweight: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools
Current Deal price is £569 which for a Suitcase Style 1700W Inverter Generator with a Briggs and Stratton engine seems very decent.

I am quite tempted myself to get one (drown out those kids - except children are a lot noisier so wouldn't manage that!)
