    Hi Peter,

If we lived closer I'd take it off your hands and try and find a home for it but I am way down south. I am a bass player myself and recommend posting it on Basschat - Bass Forum Home I have bought and sold stuff there myself. There is a recycling area on the forum where you can try and give this away for free or if you want to sell you have to pay a small fee.

    Good luck!

    Chris

Sadly as much as I love stuff like this I don't have a musical note in my body....
However IF I can help shift it south along the m6 corridor between manchester and the Midlands I will...
I'm only down the road from Oppy so no great shakes....

One of my fave speakers.... The lesley 3300

Thanks oppy thanked for this post

PM barryD, he will probably be interested.

He likes to make noises resembling a Cat being strangled.

Blimey! Im tempted Oppy as I bought my first Bass guitar last year as I do all my own stuff now but I just record it through an interface with lead, rhythm and vocals so I doubt ill ever need such a beast but it would be nice to add it to the collection. It can stand next to my 100w Marshall (not currently working) and will take me one step further towards the divorce courts as the music gear multiplies around the west wing of Rock God Baz Towers.

Have you valued it as some of these old 70s amps are worth a few quid.

    Thanks for the offer though.

When you say the amp is removed, do you mean it is included and could be put back, or that it is missing?

If it is complete, I'd be interested.

It is complete. I removed the amp because it was the easiest bit to store, I just need to slide it in, replace the 4 screws and plug in the speaker and mains, then off we jolly well go with ears bleeding but a terrific bass / combo sound. Senior management wants it out of the way by weekend--------------------I want to keep it, but her pension is more than mine, so am I a man or a mouse?---just pass the fromage and guess

    update

The amp is in fact an H&H V-S Musician (reverb) combo with a single 18" speaker. It has the classic spring line reverb and "valve sound" switch

18" Speaker!! Bet it packs a punch. If I could sneak it upstairs (doubtful) I have images of this happening.

Should wake the village up a bit.
