Oh dear, am I donating my once prized possession to an undeserving soul ??????????????????? It's bad enough that it's been used and abused by this geriatric moron, but now to pass it on to another of similar ilk what is going to happen to this wonderful piece of musical archaeology, I've now covered it up so that it can no longer see what is liable to be its fate.

But on the brighter side, I've heard that you aint half bad with 6 strings though, so if you are really good, I'll let you have a go with my really battered 62 Strat

Nope, definitely not. The reason for playing bass is that it's all I can manage, and of late I've been trying on a fretless bass uke, which is an other thing altogether. The notes are really close together. But I do have a "proper" bass guitar as well.

Six strings would be far too much for me. Well, almost: I do have a dulcimer with six strings, but they're in three pairs, so that doesn't count.

Oh you're so coy !!!!I tried a fretless bass many years ago and it was compared to driving over a cat, so a bass uke---------blimey, you are a leg end !!!!!
