Rob you may remember a few years a go I sold Jaguars, still love them I have " green Blood with leapers " Anyway me and the boys have discovered a way to earn a few quid from the cluck clucks and dispose of chickens all you have to do is a cheque in the post ...WATCH TO THE END ....a little tete a tete with our friends at Mercedes Benz.

On a serious note in the US Merc and Jag had a bit of an ad war see what you think ...Brilliant all I am saying , cat like reflexes . 4.0 litres of supercharged engine growling under the right foot need to be done one last time anyway before I get too sentimental and dewey eyed

i live love and breath jags god knows ive maintained many in my time and i must admit cursed the dam things aswell but the crap there dishing out now under the jaguar name is little more than euro crap . they say a jag is not a jag untill you have learned to love it ,look at the xjs ,everybody said it was crap after the e type ,to me the e type was best car that ever graced the roads , but now the xjs there sought after . ok the new f type is nice but would you realy want one on your drive ,or a well sorted e type for less . as for the heaps of crap they have now since the birth of the xf and its brothers give me a xj6 xj12 from the 80s anyday but only up to the xj40 ,or a my real want a black mk 10 to be precise .

I often took customers on a factory tour at brown Lane ...bodies built in west Brom...a body shell appear a new cat was born , hard to describe more than a car ....green blood and leapers if you cut a vein

Later years was fine ( ford Days ) the girls in the leather shop could make a miner blush

Part of my problem with Jaguar is old lads come in a Saturday afternoon, I would take them for a spin knowing they couldn't afford one, but treat folk right once or twice sent people in because they had got the money and I hadn't been disrespectful most important I couldn't afford one either so working with the cats next best thing.

I have worked with some exotica at JCT600, Ferrari Maserati Lotus Bentley and Aston Martin ..they are special but I would still take one of my cats

The only one that had the same effect on me Andy was my last car, a Porsche Boxster 3.2S. It just made me smile to drive it at full tilt.

A very underrated car, I am seriously thinking of buying another one.

My brother has a pristine XJS which he will never sell, and I don't blame him!

Nobody wants them here, unreliable rust buckets & fuel drinkers, saw one last week at auction 10 years old 80 th miles clean as a whistle 1000 top bid.
Now try buying a toyota audi bm or skoda diesel or golf and theres a fight at auction house for them, sporty boys and farmers love them, esp estates as plenty room for the sheep in back.
