    I like the first one.
Crocs were saviours forme. I got very Plantar fasciitis in both feet. My doctor said there is really no cure, we can send you off for shoe thingies that may help but some patients have said that wearing Crocs helps.

2 years of wearing ugly clumpy bits of plastic & yay!!! No more pain at all & I can wear normal shoes, although I now wear Crocs a lot of the time.

You should have asked on here instead of asking your Doctor. A Sports Physio will cure Plantar Fasciitis in a week, the treatment is painful but works. It worked for me after years of problems with PF.

If your PF is not too serious, there are simple exercises you can find online which can cure or minimise the pain.

PF is a build up of crystals (for want of a better word) in the muscles on the underside of the foot and the heel. A Sports Physio (and some Chiropractors) will forcefully break up this accumulation with his thumbs and hand. That is the painful part ... but it does give swift release from the pain of walking.

The exercises can also ease pain to some extent, here is a link.

    Plantar fasciitis exercises

I particularly recommend the Calf muscle exercise, standing on a step on the ball of the foot and the towel under the foot (all shown in the link). It also shows a tennis ball being used, I used a plastic bottle filled with water and then put in the freezer. It worked better for me.

I have been free from pain for a while and doon't do any exercises but I bought 2 pair of Scholl insoles for PF. One pair for my walking boots and one pair for my slippers. I don't rate them for curing PF but they seem to help it returning.

A mate of mine and I decided to have a drink together, during the course of the evening he asked me how long i had been wearing high heel sling backs.
My reply was " Ever since the wife found them in the back of the car"
