Organised twice a year (Spring & Late Summer), the last weekends of April & September at Stratford Racecourse, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 9SE England, the Adventure Overland Show and the International Campervan Show (both held alongside each other at the same venue over the same weekend) is the largest event of its type in the land. Spanning the entire overland and adventure travel scene, it features massive all-wheel-drive expedition trucks through to every conceivable make of 4x4 vehicle, two-wheel-drive campers and motorhomes, off-road adventure bikes to tourers, mountain bikes to tandems, adventure sports in the UK to treks, expeditions and explorations in far-flung foreign lands.

Held in conjunction with the highly-respected media partner "Overland Journal", the event picks up all the elements that link to adventure travel, both local and worldwide. We have experts in bushcraft giving advice and demonstrations as well as providing all those survival essentials such as wild food preparation, animal tracking and first aid. There are specialists in navigation, companies that convert vehicles to campervans along with people who have their own vehicles and adventure stories to share. We have display areas where you meet the owners and see what is for sale. There are large indoor & outdoor trade areas with all the equipment, tools and accessories you could possibly want for your type of journey, PLUS an "Adventure Bike Zone" with its own traders, displays and seminars, PLUS the popular "Travel Author's Zone" featuring the actual writers themselves.

Then there's our free-to-attend "Seminar Sessions", a full programme of 1hr talks hosted by some of the most respected individuals in the adventure travel world (both amateur and professional), here you can meet the experts and share their experiences.

The venue is central and easily accessible. We welcome day visitors, but if you really want to immerse yourself in the event we also offer pre-event (Mon-Thurs) and weekend camping (Fri-Sun inclusive) with ample space, so you never be turned away. Ticket prices are extremely good value and can be accessed online via our website or pay at the gate upon arrival (cash only). There is a food court with a 'Tastes of the World' theme, a well stocked beer tent hosted by Severn Cider and evening entertainment featuring live music Friday and Saturday nights.

Are you a musician? Then bring along your instrument and join in the jam session around the fire-pit at the International Campervan Show marquee! For more information have a look at our web sites international campervan show ~ Adventure Overland Show – Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse or contact us by e-mail or phone.

... and yes, the venue is dog friendly, disabled access is excellent, and children under 16 years old go free!

    International Camper van show 2019

    Anyone attending this show?
We'll be there on Friday hopefully before lunch,
Stratford is great place to visit even if you aren't into the Shakespeare side there's any easy walk into Stratford from the site plenty of pubs to visit and then stagger back to the show site having taken care not to fall in the river. All joking apart there's plenty to see at the show both in the show side and also in the camping area.

Sounds good. Is there a charge to attend? (I could see nothings about tickets on the links in the first post)

I will also be there again this year.

Camping is 10 per night for a motorhome + one person and then it is 15 per day for the event. So 3 nights + 2 days in the event = 50.00.

You can actually camp from Tuesday until the following Monday. I hope to be there on Wednesday.

I believe that the Autumn event is bigger.

My planning is to try and get lots of video whilst I am there and make a youtube video about the event.

Autumn event does get a few more people attending, but the trade stalls are much the same.
Allways a good beer tent though.
    Hopefully see you there.

It looks like this is going to be the largest event they have ever held. As well as the 4x4 show there is also the International Campervan Show and there are over 400 expedition motorbikes expected.

I got here yesterday and Tom has parked me in a great position on the site near the grandstand. So if you are coming look for the Wild Camping flag and say hello. If I am not at my van I will be walking around filming.
