I am 55 years old. I've been a caravaner for over 30 years and always promised myself I would buy a motor home when I could afford it but putting 4 out of 6 children through university has not been cheap, but alas all their education is now complete and it's time for us two now. We purchased a Compass Aventguard 03 with 10,000 on the clock and emaculate. We both work but in the 5 months we've had the motorhome we have had 15 trips out. First we stuck to what we knew by staying on sites but after reading this forum we took the plunge and wildcamped in a car park in Abergavenny. I was on edge thinking someone would ask us to move but I'm over that now and we now look to avoid sites. We can't wait until our next trip. We just love it and it is so different to caravaning, it is so free and with little or no planning. This forum is brilliant and I've learnt so much from it. I've sent my cheque to be a full member now.
I hope to be an active member of the forum.
