Would you pay more for a meet over a Bank Holiday ?

As you all know most campsites double the prices on Bank Holiday weekends . I have got my fingers in the fire organising a Easter bank holiday meet next year 2018, the venue needs to be booked now or very soon or I will lose it to another club who has had this venue for the last 5 years, the only niggle I have got is they want to charge more for this weekend as they say it is the busiest time for bookings. The normal price next year will be about 7.00 per night ,so I suspect the bank holiday 4 day price to be about 10 or 11 per night, but they have nor confirmed this yet . Anyhow you have got the jest of this dilemma , so what do you think book it or not ? , and would you be interested in joining the meet next Easter in Cheshire

I HAVE ALSO MADE THIS A POLL SO PLEASE VOTE

If it is a good location, then I would be happy to pay more.

Although I'm not attending your meet for the sake of a couple of quid extra I would pay it no problem.

The location is the same as the end of September meet ( Elm Park ) . The caravan club book this weekend every year so it must be a good location ,I need to be on the ball and tell the site yes or no , otherwise we will loose it anyhow

I may pay more for a bacon sandwich but, for Sue and I with a year full of weekends, we would rather leave bank holidays to those whose time is restricted. Likewise the main summer holiday period too. So I suppose my vote would be no, but because of my slightly jaundiced view, I shall abstain.

I'm not sure so will not vote for me if all you get is to park up in a field then no if it's a field with a tap and emptying points and fire pits allowed then maybe but would have to be a fab location

So long as it's a good location and can have a fire pit, count us in!!
