Not a bad idea for weight distribution (Maybe) but would be illegal as drivers vision restricted. As above, not sure about the legalities regarding an accident. I am thinking of cow catchers! Not sure what happened!

Seen this before on dutch vans and i did consider doing it myself after my front wheels just spun up on slippery steep inclines on the moors,I wouldnt of thought it illegal but it does look all wrong.

i would say its about as illegal as it gets .you can get done for having a mascot on your bonnet ,unless it was fitted as standard ,and is spring loaded so as it deflects on impact with a person , even a rusty raggy bit on the bonnet is a no no , mind you i doubt anybody that gets clobbered with that at owt over 15 mph would give a sod realy . anyway its a talbot express or one of those fiat ducato type by the looks of it ,i dident know they were still strong enough to hold themselves together never mind a sodding big bike on a frame .hats on incoming

i used to carry a small bike on the front of my old TK, a 50cc mobylette , and a 175cc suzuki on the back . perfectly legal here , France Spain and Portugal ,at least it was 20 years ago, and going by the equipment i've seen mounted on the front of various council lorries, it probably still is .camel1200waste.jpg
