We like Cats and have owned quite a few over the years. However, when we had 4 Whippets on board and a Cat owner rolled up, we had no option but to pack up and move on. Luckily it only happened a couple of times.

On a lighter note. We arrived on a C&CC THS near North Berwick and walked the dogs for pees and poos. They seemed to be acting strangely but we pegged them out on the grass while we sorted out the van. All 4 of them started howling like Wolves, which was a bit embarrassing as they would not shut up when told. A Caravanner walked across and said other Dogs were doing the same and it was because a Warden had brought his 2 Ferrets with him. We moved the van to a position upwind of the Ferrets and the Dogs were (mostly) quiet after that.
Some people are alive only because it is illegal to shoot them.
