    Exhausted

Couldn't believe it, looking round the van on Monday, noticed the exhaust was in a very sad state, straight on to eBay and ordered a new exhaust (well the rear end). So this afternoon it arrived in one complete lump.

I thought "That's handy, only one joint to think about" but, perhaps, a tad heavy when you're laying on your back trying to fit it by yourself. Anyway, the job's done and we can now trundle off down to Norfolk safe in the knowledge that the exhaust isn't going to break.

    Literally crumbled before my eyes.

Can I ask what's the outside diameter of the pipes & your engine size?

My replacement is 49mm for a 2.8hdi --lways looks too small to me.

    Hello Al,
Just went outside and took a photograph.

Allowing for rust, I think 60ish would be a fair guess but, as you can see, the photograph shows 62. As for the engine, it's a 2 litre petrol Peugeot Boxer.
