Depends where you are, Narbonne Accessories are a good bet if you are near a branch. I have seen them for sale in the petrol stations on the autoroutes.

Thank you, now we know what to look for and ask about. We are at an Aires site not far from toulouse on our way to south of France, been hectic and if I did not have dementia before I am well on the road or post traumatic stress symptoms. I have a antidote which is chocolate.

if making and securing connection using any form of clip, mix a small amount of washing up liquid with water, then brush over joints with liquid to check for leaks.

Does not work as nothing in the pipe. You screw the connector on finger tight. Connect up the gas and off you go. That will be the only time there is gas in the pipe. After filling it’s enpty again.

Spanish one is different and has a valve in the adaptor. Once you have filled you then need to undo the adaptor then you get a hiss and some gas out as the adaptor is removed.

It’s funny when you go to fill up in Spain they always expect you to need an adaptor yet in France they don’t usually have them

Narbonne accessories are in Toulouse I think, but I'ed searched their site and they dont have the French LPG converter, but worth visiting them in case.
