Don't presume that Wully visited every van to introduce himself, he tends to get blathered then try every door till he finds his own van.

I'm sorry you feel that you were ignored but as I recall I visited you on at least two occasions and you also joined in when the van got stuck, which was appreciated. Also, the hot weather tended to make most people to stay in the shade near their vans.
    Whoa ... steady on Lee.

Where did the word 'ignore' come into it? I did not say it and it is certainly not the case. I enjoyed the company and chat with my neighbours on the field. Others on this thread said they make a point of visiting all the vans and seem upset when I said that only one member did that in my part of the field. You did call in on a number of occasions and had a chat with us and it was appreciated.

Anyway, I seem to be detracting from the topic of this thread so I will disappear now. If anyone with ruffled feathers feels strongly enough about my initial comment, feel free to continue by PM and let this thread follow its proper course.

I assume that idea met its demise? Particularly useful at the larger gatherings

I laminated 100 signs and I know many were given out. I will try and do some more before Applewood. I think that the signs are a great idea and we should thank Andy & Janet for the idea and Roger for getting me to make them.

I use my sign all the time, even when not at meets.

I've still got one but never see them used. I think they're a good idea.

It's sad when you can't remember your own name

    1. This is an opinion poll, not a referendum.
    2. Vote for the choice that you would want.
    3. Only vote if you intend on attending a New year rally.
    4. Read the question fully before voting.
    5. Votes are private but can be seen by Admin.

    Question 1

Would you rather have one large UK rally or three smaller regional rallies (Scotland, Northern England, Wales and Southern England)?
I would rather have three smaller ones as dislike too big a meeting and travelling can be akward at this time of year.

I've voted. I haven't been to the last 2 mainly because of the distance to travel at that time of year! So hopefully there'll be one nearer to me next time.

I think that this has now been decided.
