    Wild camping advice

CLICK HERE TO REMOVE THESE ADVERTS
Hi, this is my first post on this forum site so please be gentle with me.
I used to own a VW camper many years ago when we had young kids, but as we're beginning to get old and grey and the kids have become bigger people than us, we thought it was time to take the motor home plunge!
We are hiring a motor home for a couple of weeks in March and thinking of heading to Scotland, where we hear it is quite easy to wild camp. However as we will be travelling from Bristol, we fancy breaking the journey up with a stop over on the way, possibly around North Wales or maybe the Pennines.

Can anyone offer any advice about suitable locations, or even places where you can pay to spend the night and take on water.

    Many thanks,

    Smuggs

Hi and welcome to the forum, don't worry about stopping off, just drive until you're getting ready for a stop and then look for somewhere to park up for the night, in over 10 years motorhoming we've never failed to find somewhere.
