When we first went to live in America, we trundled off to the first of many car dealerships one day with our young kids in tow. Being new, we knew very little about models, so needed to do a bit of window shopping to get an idea of what we could afford. I swear we were virtual prisoners because we wouldn't make a quick decision on the increasingly desperate offers they were making to force us to buy one particular car. Every excuse we came up with, they countered as a well-oiled team... offering us nibbles, drinks, toys for the children to play with and all kinds of lucrative bonuses. We hadn't done our homework, so didn't even know if the offers were good. Hours it was! When we mumbled about about needing to get lunch they offered to go and buy it for us and bring it back to the dealership. Finally, with fear in our eyes and thumping headaches, we grabbed our distressed offspring and practically ran away, saying we had to rush off to a doctor's appointment for our poorly son
Up until then, we thought car salesmen were pushy over here... talk about learning curve

Aw bless you... thanks Wully, you're a star.
My shed's only tiny 6 x 4. You know, I'm quite looking forward to tackling it... if the rain holds off for a while!

Edit to say... I just failed at the first hurdle... "For this project, you'll need 2 people" Maybe I can bribe a friend with lunch and prosecco... after the job's done
Other than that, it looks really straightforward, yay!

Yes agreed a 6x4 shed is only tiny.

But as I have already said don't buy so called shed roofing felt, it is thin and it tear like paper.

Do it on a sunny day, but NOT on a windy day !

Yes agree with you , get the polyester reinforced felt or even the thicker torch on type (harder to fold !)
The superior felt here is probably ok

Yes in the past I have used on my two sheds 38kg mineral felt but next time it will be "torch on felt".

The first shed roof has lasted 30 years so it is time the felt was renewed !

The trouble is I am 30 years older than last time !
