    Morning folks,

Both breakfasts look scrummy, especially if someone has cooked them for you.

Dry and bright here this morning.

Hang on in there, Barrie - like Annie said we're fast heading to lighter & longer (hopefully even warmer days), be Easter before you know it.

It sure is unseasonably mild. All this talk of cooked breakfasts is making me peckish. Hmm... should I have the usual porridge, or grill up the last few slices of bacon from the fridge with an egg? Got some of those frozen part-baked crusty baguettes in the freezer need something doing with them, could make a bacon & egg sarnie in warm baguette?

Helped a friend make a start clearing an allotment yesterday. It's not his, some rich folk in Durham are going to be paying him to look after it for them while they work away in London (sigh)

Back proper gardening from tomorrow, planting some new bare root fruit trees for a customer Wednesday, rearranging a border for another on Friday. Taking a bit of time off for good behaviour in the middle on Thursday to meet up with a good pal for a binge on can & coffee and a catch up on life in general.

Our old camper is misbehaving when starting (i.e. refuses to!). It does start eventually, but hopefully Neil will manage to get it started this morning and drive it down to local diesel specialist in Beamish for a check up. Still looking at a Laika as a permanent replacement though...
