I thought it was every day !
Woohoo! It's National Drink Wine Day... tomorrow. On your marks...
Not to be confused with National Wine Day in May, this one is about drinking it and enjoying it, not just appreciating or admiring it in theory.
We all know that too much alcohol leads to dire things and we all need to drink responsibly. In honour of tomorrow though, I'd like to know all the reasons why drinking wine is or could be good for you - for the purposes of ammunition... erm... research.
On average, women who drink moderately seem to have higher bone mass than abstainers. Alcohol appears to boost oestrogen levels; the hormone seems to slow the body's destruction of old bone more than it slows the production of new bone.
Google away people...
It had to be you.
Should I duck now?

Will pass on that, two bottles of black bottle and half btl o bells consumed with my neighbour last night, thank goodness my keyboard lights up.
OK, I've found another good reason to join the celebration tomorrow...
Wine could preserve your memory. When researchers gave memory quizzes to women in their 70s, those who drank one drink or more every day scored much better than those who drank less or not at all.
