Moved to new house in area with no mobile signal.
    Requested phone line and broadband
Agreed delivery date arrived and went - no phone line, phone nor broadband.
Drove to where I could get a mobile signal to query no engineer.

'If you had bothered to look at our website you would have seen that the delivery had been put back one month.'

'Should I have looked at your website using the no phone line, no phone and no broadband method?'

'You should have used a neighbours system...'

....you can fill in the rest of the conversation

i once lived in one of three very remote cottages which had originally had landlines put in years ago but rarely used. there was no mobile signal. BT spent 6 months not reconnecting one of the three at all - she moved out , charging me for an entirely unknown number, and next doors bill came to me...... so none of us paid them any money for six months.... talk about shambolic !!!

Hurray, the router has arrived. BT message states that it has been left with a neighbour. Funny that, the postie handed it directly to me!

Have to admit Paul, I have been feeling down in the dumps since I got back. Who wouldn't?
