If it is flat, I wonder how thick it is?
someone should ask them, If the world is flat, then why can't you see the Hymalayas from America???
What do they think is on the other side?
Do they think there's only one pole?, if so, then why haven't the polar bears eaten all the penguins?
Do they think the sun is flat?
Does the earth sit on the back of four elephants, which in turn are supported on the back of the great A'tuin which is the most hugely impressive space turtle of all time?
Did there chosen diety make the world in 7 minutes?
What is time?
Where does space end?
Why are we here.
But most importantly of all, why do we still war against each other???????
Oh, of course it's because some people believe that the world is FLAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't be lost if you don't know where you're going.
Is it not

It is obvious the you bunch of unbelieving numpties have never read the Holy book of Islam "The Quran".
The book clearly states that the Earth is flat. Does the Quran really state that the earth is flat? - Skeptical Science
End of argument methinks.
Ps no rants about others religious beliefs please.
If the world is flat, how do time zones work?
Seriously, people are groomed to believe what they know to be untrue. We are trained from an early age to live with the cognitive dissonance between beliefs and facts.
The tooth fairy, Santa Claus, the benefits of Conservative economic policy, the contents of the Daily Mail, the difference between full-timer motorhomers and travellers, the difference between immigrants and ex-pats. All examples of beliefs held in clear and obvious opposition to clear fact. Yes, all religions too. All utter nonsense, but so widely accepted that it isn't socially acceptable to point out that the emperor has no clothes on.
What is needed is for us to filter our beliefs to match facts, not to filter facts that match our beliefs. But many people find that too challenging.
