A vigilante ripped the flowers down, shouldn't be there in the first place, Put a sign on a lamppost and advertise directions to a business and see what happens !

As you say in a safe house for fear of reprisals taken very seriously by the Police , The chaps torment is far from over and I doubt ever will, His wife by all accounts who s disabled taking it all very badly.

So still very much a victim in all this....Hopefully the Police use intelligence to get the idiots off the street , but then what will courts do ,,,,I feel this whole case a sad reflection on our society do we really protect the innocent and fight unsociable behaviour ?

Bizarre world we live in sadly....

Convicted child killer in pretty much the most heinous of circumstances....
And despite being convicted several times over of possessing child porn images...
You get several NEW identities to protect you and relocated etc without a problem....

Protect your OWN property and family from a convicted scutty thief and you pretty much lose everything...

    Country is FUBAR.... IMHO.

Break into my house and you'd be lucky to find the bits regardless of the consequences.

What's needed here, is a very public outcry/demonstration to the government, that the honest sector of society will no longer allow the dishonest criminal uncaring sector (Hence forth known as scum), to carry on there illegal acts without making the punishment fit the crime, while at the same time, they refuse to protect the innocent, expecting us to accept the often very lenient punishments of the courts.

A prime example is the aforementioned continuing protection given to a prime scumbag who continues to do what he's always done yet is given protection!

Makes me think he knows something about some very highly placed individuals!!

Our Prisons are bursting at the seams so fines and Community Service Orders are issued instead. It has always puzzled me as to why I have never seen anyone actually doing any Community Service. It is a long time since I have seen teenage miscreants picking litter in our local Country Park. I don't think Community Service actually exists, maybe someone can enlighten me?

    Well perhaps......
Have you tried taking your eyes off the female joggers for 5 minutes, you might have a bit more luck spotting the felons.
I believe teenage miscreants are advised to steer well clear of blokes of a certain age wandering
around public parks, do you wear a half buttoned raincoat by any chance?

    Only trying to enlighten

    Its all gone mad

the Police would rather fine a motorist £100 and 3 points 5 minutes of paperwork or £100 on a speed awareness course than pursue villains in the courts (not a dig at the police btw)

Then you have some idiot who slashes an old mans motab scooter in winter, (not proven but fishy) Hanging out a window abusing police officers resisting arrest showing off to his mates public order offence Two officers arrest him call for back up, cost of transporting him to the local Hilton An old man in shock result an £80 fine ...that's the problem with the system. Romanian oiks in Lincolnshire stealing and burgling imagine your wifes jewellery knicked 3 let off one got 3 months why not deport ? afterwards

    Where is the deterrent ?

Lots of tradesman round here at the moment having tools stolen so not only tools but then cant work ! vans damaged peel side doors off for fun lucky if you get a crime number in 48 hours never mind police turning up for a statement

The police are being put in an impossible position, and should it get to court they look for every remedy they can bar a stretch because prisons are overcrowded

It needs a bit of backbone and some strong messages but politicians daren't /wont do it
