    How about this I came up behind on the way to work last year, no catch just a nice design I thought

    This of course is still in use today

    not that bad really, it's normally a fixed charge whether its 2 stories or 5, the guy has to buy a van and kit, drive there, clear the room around the fireplace , tape up the blankets or other baffle , rod the flue then clear up. could be 2 or 3 hours. a fitter calling himself a mechanic will charge more than that an hour. i once saw a sweep clear 10 bags of rook's nest twigs from a flue that hadn't been used for years, no extra charge
