Very embarrassed to say I came out of the dentist this morning clutching a £25 ultrasonic toothbrush
I must now eat my words regarding my previous comments on 'gadgets'!
Life: unfinished threads in a never-ending tapestry
Oh, and by the way - I asked my dentist if there was any difference between the £25 ones and the £300 ones.
He said NO absolutely not, they all do exactly the same job, just the expensive ones have more daft buttons
Paying a little more gets you a brush that lets you know when 30 seconds have passed as well as when 2 minutes have passed. That's a bit useful.
Paying a little more again gets you one with a red light that switches on if you press too hard. Not sure that's very valuable.
Buying an Oral-B made in the last year or so gets you one with a Li-Ion battery instead of NiCd - and that is definitely worth having!
