Visited my dentists yesterday for a check up. No teeth problems but she requested I return in 3 months as she was concerned about my gums.
I told her that I take little care with my teeth and she suggested I start flossing and using an electric tooth brush.
I recall many members posting about charging problems in their motorhomes and that a pure sine wave inverter is best practice ?
Any suggestions for a mid range toothbrush ? Googled best electric toothbrushes this morning and nearly fell off my chair ! £200.00 + for a toothbrush ! Iíll go to £100.00 I reckon tops.
The most important thing is to enjoy your life - to be happy - its all that matters.
O H put a post up the other day about lidl selling electric toothbrushes that charge via usb,
Life: unfinished threads in a never-ending tapestry
All these gadgets!
Now, I can understand, and therefore make huge exceptions, if someone suffers from a disability that prevents them from doing certain things without the help of powered devices, but all this other electric gadget stuff for normal, healthy people?
(er... for WC'ers lets just say healthy, shall we? )
Electric bread makers... coffee machines (planet-polluting use once plastic pods)... ice cream makers... 'smoothie' machines... etc. etc. you get my drift.
Low tech every time for me, with maybe an exception for clothes washing!
I even prefer old-fashioned windy down windows on vehicles. Basically anything you don't need a degree in electricity to fix.
Anyway, all this powered stuff makes us lazy. How much time do you want to save when you're chilling in the camper anyway?!
I always thought the whole point of trundling about in a camper was to take your time and enjoy the whole experience at a slower pace.
Use manual toothbrush/floss etc. Keeps yer arm muscles active if nowt else, cos if you don't use 'em you lose 'em
