This morning we buried our JRT Tilly in the shrubbery alongside Boogie, Spike & Molly.
She was only 10 but had an enlarged heart with a faulty valve. It had only started to affect her in the last 2 months but being a terrier she wouldn't slow down. She started having fainting fits & breathing problems. I found her in the garden at 6 this morning. We think her heart gave out when chasing bunnies. She died as she had lived, at full tilt enjoying her life.
For the first time in 23 years I am without a dog by my side, she has left a big hole in our lives & our hearts.
Sorry for your loss
will you get another one ?
So sad, losing a pet leaves a big hole in your heart but you have had ten years of pleasure from her, think of the good times
Very sorry to hear this, a lot of us wilders will know what Tilly meant to you as most of us would have lost a much loved pet. Take comfort in that Tilly probably died doing what she liked doing best - chasing bunnies.
At what age do you think itís appropriate to tell a road itís adopted?
Sharon and Phill, I really feel for you. I'm very sorry.
Really sorry to here about your loss Sharon and Phil. RIP Tilly.
.... Tom ....
