We're on hard standing, sheltered from the westerly winds..
If, this time, it's the ultimate perfect storm... The fridge is empty, the cassette will be pleasantly full.

We plan to finish the last remaining bottle of Portuguese red belly wash and perhaps the remaining Laphroag Islay single Malt.
If we die in each other's arms, we'll be spared the cost of next year's golden wedding celebration.... And tomorrow's hangover.
    Goodbye, you lovely people .
If not... Kindly disregard this post

I have spent the day casually considering a new set of Bike leathers, Having seen the forecast perhaps a dry suit maybe more apt. In true Yorkshire fashion, designed a sail for Maureen the moped so my Hybrid bike should be good for 200 MPG ......If it should all go wrong , and anyone is a tad concerned start the search in the East

4 a.m., first light, strong gusts of wind, treetops swirling about in joyful dance. cloud cover, hint of moisture in the air. the dawn chorus fainter than usual, a little hesitant. will all be calm by lunch time, or is a storm brewing ? Sunny spells and a dark Kaden sky, sat here with a cup of tea and the light has a distinct Turner esque ethereal presence

Having heeded the dire warnings and moved garden furniture indoors (it blows around if left out in Winter) the whole thing has been a bit of a damp squib, just a bit of a breeze and a little rain. Actually quite a normal Summer day here 😀
