    That may well have to be the best designed sub ever constructed.

    I'm glad that the people who designed it are going to be the ones that pilot it, it may be made of carbon fibre, but one scratch in the surface could seriously weaken the integrity of the hull & at about 6,000 PSI, the result would be an instant collapse of the whole sub with very little warning!

    On the other hand, I hope all goes well for them & the Titanic dive is a great success, I will look forward to seeing the results & pictures in June 2019!

    I'd imagine the Ti part, will be the area which is manned and contains all the life support systems. With carbon fibre wrapped around the Ti, for buoyancy, etc.

    Years ago when British Oceanics had a base at Leith Docks for North Sea O&G support. I did some work on Pisces V, big boys toys, for sure!

    It may be well made but in this day and age remote systems is the way to go rather than risk life,but then again some like the thrill of danger or else they have bigger b--ls than me.
