    First thanks everyone for the well wishes and concerns I am still in Leeds hospital and it seems the fluids were not pneumonia as first thought but my kidneys. Have failed . I have started dialysis had 5essions and will have to dialise 3 times a week 4 hours a day rest of my life which came a tad close last week only intensive care at Wakefield saved me make matttersworse broke my phone escaped today and bought one so I can tease you but not got the idea of crammed yet

    Great to hear from you Andrew. What a blow to face that for ever though. Just have to be positive and at least it is controllable. As you can see from the previous thread, many on here rooting for you. Hope you’re out and about and feeling better very soon.

    Well you're still here so hope you are doing better.
    A friend of mine went many years of having dialysis three times a week, eventually he had a transplant which worked well.

    They might be able to break us for spare parts and make one good one out of the bits.

    It will take some getting used to, and that's life, it will make your freedom days feel even better !

    Good to hear from you Andrew albeit not the best news. Joining a support group with other sufferers may be good for you and knowing you, you will be good for them!

    At what age do you think itís appropriate to tell 
a road itís adopted?
