Hi all, I'm looking for a good quality mini speaker for the van. I've got a little Anker at the moment but looking at Bose and they're soooo expensive ... about £179 for a mini speaker! Anyone any recommendations or is it no way but Bose?

I think with speakers it's a case of you get what you pay for.I stupidly bought a ''Bose''mini speaker from an electronics shop in Lanzarote for 40 euros,it was obviously a fake and lasted until we got home and now wont hold a charge.

I have bought a Sony bluetooth speaker to replace it just last week and am very pleased with it.

It's a bit bass heavy but I use it with an equaliser on my phone to take a bit of bottom end out.I compared it with a Bose mini speaker in the shop and couldn't tell much difference.

I think Maggy has the same speaker as you because I keep hearing people say "here comes Maggy with that little anker"

I cannot help with recommendations but I would be interested to hear what is worth buying

I've got a Bose and I really like it, I bought one for my daughter because she liked it so much.
One of the things I appreciate is that you can play it VERY quietly, where some others I've used drop down in steps that are too big.
    So, Bose vote from me.

    :-)

I’ve got a couple of Bluetooth speakers and have the Bose mini link. It is a great speaker for its size the name Bose used to mean quality but think there probably made in China along with all the apple stuff still good but think you could now find better for you’re money Costco online are doing the Bose for £139 +vat but have a look they’ve got some others a wee bit cheaper. Or just do what I do copy phil Join the club & start saving! | Costco UK
