Ultra Low Emission Zone LONDON 2019 and 2021

CLICK HERE TO REMOVE THESE ADVERTS
Please do be aware London's Ultra Low Emission Zone the LEZ is getting tougher in 2019 and getting larger in 2021.

In 2021 that Ultra Low Emission Zone will be at the end of the M1 motorway.

This includes petrol cars, motorbikes and campervans.

Now you can say you will never drive into London, but it is very easy to be caught out and fined.

For more details I have included a link to follow.

    https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ult...-emission-zone

In 2021 this link for the map shows the area covered,

    http://content.tfl.gov.uk/ulez-bound...tober-2021.pdf

I am sure this will be happening in cities around the UK and abroad.

That map doesn't seem to show the M25. Will the LEZ be inside the M25 or will we have to find a wider way to avoid the place?

While I realise this is not helpful for the majority of folks if your motorhome is registered as a disabled vehicle you have an exemption until 2025.

I would imagine the M25 will remain outside the ULEZ as it is currently outside the LEZ (in a similar way that the North Circular inner ringroad is outside the Congestion Charge)

I was prompted recently when I was looking at a second hand Honda motorbike and the dealer said of course you can't use this in the new ULEZ.

Now it's not something that I would regularly do going into London but with cameras everywhere it is so easy to make a mistake and get caught, I already live in the existing outer LEZ and I see the cameras reading the vehicle number plates.

People with not much money who already live in the ULEZ are stuffed.

That's an unlikely scenario here and if a tractor had no number plates even more unlikely however I guess if no number plate is visible that would flag it up for urgent investigation, seizure, prosecution and the vehicle being crushed.

Here when they do vehicle checks they have car transporters and removal vans for the motorbikes ready to take them away.
