It does seem you get more wins when you start buying premium bonds and then it all slows down.

I can remember a boss at work bought 50000 and had big wins every month and then it all completely stopped.

I have heard that and sometimes it seems to feel that way.

I am considering the idea of buying and selling for that reason but it would mean missing out on a months draw doing that (you have to hold for a minimum of a full calendar month before they go into the draw. So the Bonds I bought on 31st Dec last year only went into this Months draw)

(just checked mine ... just a couple of 25 wins, but better than nothing )
My late mom bought my son 100.00 wort of bonds 20 years ago, still only worth 100.00 and never won a penny. Just a thought

It's a gamble but at least your stake money keeps rolling on to the next.

    Indeed so.
I am still hoping for a big win but each month I get something and it is more then I would be getting from a Bank Savings Account.

Rules with Premium Bonds are very simple .... If you don't like 'em, don't buy 'em.

I once read on the Martin Lewis site , basicaly if you are averagely lucky you will match the bank rates unlucky and you lose out , lucky and your quids in. But there is always the chance of a big win. Fingers crossed.
