    Jaws boat (Orca)

    Whilst visiting my sister and brother in law just before christmas, he showed me his latest piece of workmanship which is the boat from Jaws;

    20181221_095041.jpg20181221_095055.jpg20181221_095104.jpg20181221_095112.jpg20181221_095325.jpg20181221_095331.jpg20181221_095802.jpg

    The boat is about 5 feet long and the figures are remodelled action men! (You can see the nearly completed Capt Quint in the pictures and he also has very lifelike models of Hooper and Chief Brody. The attention to detail is fantastic, even down to the mugs and cutlery in the cabin and the instruments (which all light up). He still has to add the full mast, the engine and smoke machine for the exhaust and of course the shark jawbone which adorns the front of the flybridge in the film, all of which he has made and ready to fit.

    I was most impressed.

    I always thought his name was Quinn but I've just found out it was Quint.

    That will look impressive on the pond. Remodel a sub as a shark.

    Your bro in law has done a great job, Rob. Brilliant detail, right down to the yellow drums of chum.

    Already underway!

    I think it would be good to have the Jaws music playing from the boat as the fin appears behind it.

    Awesome work and an awesome movie. The yellow drums are floats to stop the beast diving.

    That's truly amazing, model building at the top of the game

    Would be brilliant to see it on the local municipal boating pond.
    Maybe he can get/make a radio controlled Jaws shark to follow it around?

    The kids will love it!
