    Drill a little deeper fit longer screw , Fill with anything that sets hard , drill then replace screw .

    I`ve looked at the speedclip fittings but they will not fit because where the screw fits is too deep and not a thin section that they clip onto.

    Think i`ll try the PlasticWeld and see if i can build up a few layers inside the hole, enough for the screw to cut itself a new thread into.

    Occasionally on here Graham, but tends to stick to Motorhomer these days.

    Another instant fix is apiece of copper wire length ways and use original screw.

    Very similar to a couple of suggestions, what i used was the smooth end ( not zipped section ) pieces of some 140mm x 3.5mm cable ties slotted into the hole.

    Tried 4 to start with but it was too much then 3 evenly spaced ones worked a treat and it has tightened up nicely
